Current Board Election

The South Dakota Retirement System Board of Trustees is the governing authority of SDRS. The Board consists of 14 elected representatives from participating groups, two appointees of the governor, and an ex-officio non-voting representative of the South Dakota Investment Council. Elections for representatives to the Board are held each spring. The representatives' terms begin July 1, are four years in length, and expire on a staggered schedule. 04/28/2017: Online voting begins at 8:00 AM CT
05/25/2017: Paper ballots and online votes must be received by 5:00 PM CT
06/14/2017: Board of Trustees declares winners
