Events

SDRS provides an array of retirement planning tools for its membership. Throughout the year, SDRS retirement planners travel our state to reach out and educate members. Retirement can be a complex phase of a person's life. SDRS strives to provide members with every opportunity to be better prepared for this life-changing event through our educational services and outreach programs.

Individual Counseling Sessions

SDRS retirement planners travel to communities throughout South Dakota to meet one-on-one with members for personal retirement counseling sessions. Whether you are new to the system, are nearing retirement, or are somewhere in-between, you will benefit from a session with our retirement planners. It's never too early, or too late, to plan for your retirement!

Women & Financial Planning Workshops

Statistically speaking, women live longer, are more conservative investors, and are more apt to take time off work to care for children and elders, creating unique challenges when it comes to financial and retirement planning. The Women and Financial Planning workshop focuses on strengthening the overall financial wellness of SDRS' largest membership group.
